Help with Job Interview

Actual case demonstrating the potential of Personal Empowerment Sessions for stressful situations

Harriet (not real name) came to see me as she was very nervous about an upcoming job interview. She knew she had the skills, qualifications and experience to do the role she was interviewing for, but her nerves were kicking in, coupled with negative thoughts and self-esteem issues.

In that session, we discovered a sabotaging pattern she had been holding which was the root cause of her nerves and esteem issues around the interview process and securing the role. This pattern was something she ‘acquired' much earlier in life, which, over time, had developed into a security mechanism - much like an emotional crutch.

I helped her release this pattern, as well as some other worthiness issues she had around the role. The release helped her feel much lighter, positive and with a new found feeling of calm confidence around the upcoming interview. At the end of the session, she could only imagine enjoying the interview process and not being so hung up on the outcome.

A few days after the interview, she did inform me she had been selected for the role and had accepted.
